A collaborative filmmaking game

Your friends.
Your plot twists.

One story. A roomful of imaginations. Take turns adding a scene, then discover the film you made together.

Invited testers can set up a private game. Video generation is paused.

From first idea to final reveal

Make something none of you could make alone.

01

Invite your friends

Choose a premise, viewing mode and film look. Share the private invitation with your cast.

02

Take your turn

Describe what happens next. Each player's scene adds another twist to the shared story.

03

Roll the credits

Reveal the finished film together. Private playback and download keep your story within the group.

How much of the story will you see?

Surprise

New games pass on only the previous scene’s final still. Its clip, sound and prompt stay hidden. The full film stays hidden until the reveal, including from the organiser.

Open

Follow the accepted scenes as the film grows, then add your own next chapter.

Your story, your rhythm

Choose how scenes connect.

Surprise and Open decide what your group can see. Jump Cut and Continuous decide how the next scene is generated.

Jump Cut

Turn your words into an independent scene. The current trial uses five-second, silent AI clips at 480p.

Continuous

Begin with an opening image you approve, then use the previous scene’s final frame to guide the next. Visual consistency is not guaranteed.

Your film look guides future AI prompts in both styles. Continuous also follows its reference image. The look is fixed when you create the game; it does not change this website’s artwork.

A surreal beginning

Inspired by Exquisite Corpse.

Exquisite Corpse, also known as cadavre exquis, is a collaborative creative game associated with the Surrealists of the 1920s. Participants add words or drawings in turn, hiding earlier contributions so the finished work becomes a surprise.

eXqizitCutZ brings that spirit of shared imagination to filmmaking. Friends pass a story from scene to scene. In Surprise mode, each player sees the previous scene for the handoff, while the full film stays hidden until the reveal. Open mode lets you follow the story as it grows.

Different imaginations. Unexpected plot turns. One film made together. Explore Exquisite Corpse at MoMA.

An honest work in progress

The demo, right now.

Two invited players have made a real, silent 480p Jump Cut film: independent AI scenes, private turn-taking, reviewed acceptance and verified playback/download. Access and a shared video-test allowance are restricted. New hosted games do not fall back to mock footage; older mock films keep their original labels.

Continuous generation from an approved opening image and the previous scene's final frame has also completed a restricted two-player test. These small trials do not guarantee visual consistency. AI profile portraits have not yet been demonstrated. Continuous offers Silent or With generated audio in setup, but real generated sound has not yet been tested. Audio may include speech, effects or music; exact dialogue and matching voices are not guaranteed.

Video generation is currently paused while the shared US$5 test cap remains fully reserved, including unresolved requests. Invited testers can still create a private lobby without buying generation. Setup shows the blocking reason and a Check again action that keeps your entered values. Existing private films remain accessible.

The test allowance is not a purchase: no payment is taken and no live offers are available. Each turn has one generation attempt; creative rerolls are not available in this trial. The opening scene uses its player’s normal allocation. Setup summarises your players, planned scenes, footage length, look and sound before you create the game.

Optional profile avatars stay beside player names. They are not inserted into film scenes.

New games begin with a starting still chosen by the organiser; another player creates the first video scene. Free sample artwork is available. Paid starting-image generation and AI story players are prepared but remain disabled in this release, pending their spending approval and real-provider checks.

Try a shorter one-minute plan, or Hand it on: invite one new person for each scene through a private, one-use invitation. These setup and invitation flows are available to invited testers; making footage still requires available generation allowance. Provisional prices are labelled for private testing. Live payments are disabled.

A film gallery? Later.

Games are private by default. A future gallery will require explicit submission, recorded group consent and moderation, with reporting and removal before publication. No films are published here.
